Sisense Manager Deal Desk

We are looking for an experienced Manager, Deal Desk to lead our small team, which supports a global salesforce. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth at Sisense by managing and further building out a world-class deal desk operation. You will be responsible for building the strategic direction, implementing new and scalable processes and tools, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. You will take ownership of advising our sales and customer success organizations on deal structures and pricing, as well as orchestrating our deal approval structures.

You will build close alignment with partner orgs including sales, CS, finance, and business systems. This will entail contributing to longer-term strategies as well as near-term deliverables, providing ongoing guidance to help the sales organization achieve its revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Deal Desk team, providing guidance and coaching to develop the skills of our Deal Desk Analysts and foster innovation on the team.
  • Become a subject matter expert for Sisense’s pricing models and SKUs to assist our global Sales and CS teams with deal structuring and quoting support, and to support revenue generation that aligns with our company’s financial goals.
  • Partner with multiple groups, such as Sales, Legal, Accounting, Customer Care, etc. to facilitate the deal process.
  • Conduct recurring meetings with cross-functional teams including Accounts Receivable and Legal to align Deal Desk efforts with overall business objectives and improve current processes.
  • Utilize data to identify areas of improvement, inform solutions, execute initiatives, and communicate results. Refine performance targets and metrics for the Deal Desk team and track progress against goals.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly booking reviews to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor the Deal Desk Slack channel and maintain Deal Desk resource page.
  • Provide sales training and enablement of quoting, pricing, and processes.
  • Act as a point of escalation for deal-related matters: Be a trusted advisor to the Sales team, collaborating on pricing and commercial terms for non-standard transactions.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 3+ years experience in a RevOps or Deal Desk role within a high-volume SaaS Sales organization with 1+ years people management experience
  • Understanding of software revenue recognition
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail while multitasking
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com, DealHub CPQ a bonus
