Work with the EA leaders to develop and implement strategic deployment planning as well as specific goals and priorities that drive lean principles and concepts across the plant that support plant and corporate goals.
Conduct regular value stream reviews with assigned leaders to assure the team drives significant and measurable business impact
Lead the development of EA Operations Continuous Improvement & Kaizen roadmap, value stream mapping, 5S implementation, DMS, and other lean tools to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Lead the development of the Kaizen culture at EA including owning quarterly Kaizen plan as well as more ad hoc events shorter than a week.
Lead the development of the EA productivity project funnel and improve customer satisfaction through elimination of waste, reduced cycle-times, and optimizing resource utilization on end to end processes.
Analyze key performance metrics (KPI), identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement in cost, quality, and efficiency.
Work closely with operations, quality, engineering, and other departments and serve as a change agent by influencing, communicating and institutionalizing a culture of simplification and standardization.
Develop and coach lean skills and competency at all levels of the organization fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Seek, share and institutionalize best practices.
Oversee and manage lean projects from inception through implementation, ensuring on-time delivery of results that align with plant priorities.
Communicate progress, status and issues of the lean journey to the plant leaders.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
At least 5+ additional years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with 2 years in a Lean leadership role.
Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing tools and methodologies (e.g. Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, 5S, DSM).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead a cross-functional team in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated success in driving culture change and operational improvements through Lean principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Leader or Black Belt preferred.
Experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in cost-savings initiatives.
MBA or master’s in engineering discipline.
Additional leadership experience in the areas of operations, manufacturing and quality is preferred.
