In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of Assembler and COBOL applications

  • 4+ years of Mainframe experience

  • 4+ years of zOS experience

  • 4+ years of NDM, MQ, JCL, REXX, IBM Utilities experience

  • 4+ years of Agile experience

  • 3+ years of DB2 experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of software design and development experience in leading/managing mainframe applications in a high-volume production environment

  • 10+ years supporting Hogan application development preferably Hogan Umbrella

  • Experience supporting, leading and working with offshore teams

  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies, including static/dynamic testing

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse, geographically distributed team (including onshore and offshore)

  • Experience with one or moreObservability/Monitoringtools: Mainview, Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Dynatrace

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as needed

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range

$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
