Your role and responsibilities

Your responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage SAP HANA projects across various industries, focusing on successful deployment.
  2. Oversee project roll-outs, including fit-to-standard workshops, cutover, training, and client engagement.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, aligning project goals with their strategic objectives.
  4. Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  5. Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders involved in the project.
  6. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, collaborating closely with all relevant parties.
  7. Manage critical phases of the project lifecycle, including cutover, go-live, and post-implementation support.
  8. Demonstrate proven leadership skills to manage teams of varying sizes.

Required technical and professional expertise
  1. Minimum of 10 years of SAP project or deployment management experience in international programs, with a focus on country-level deployments.
  2. Extensive experience in managing template roll-outs, including fit to standard workshops, cutover, training, and client engagement.
  3. Good overall understanding of typical end-to-end business processes and related SAP functionalities, including sales, purchasing, logistics, and financials.
  4. Proven leadership skills to effectively manage teams of 15 or more individuals.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing Platforms: Including IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP. Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Hands on experience with project management methodologies like Agile,DAD, SAF.
  • Ability to motivate team members and ensure close alignment with a specific roll-out country, from end-users to senior management.
  • Capacity to protect and safeguard the global template and act as an ambassador for the central team.
  • Experience in conducting fit-to-standard workshops to define mandatory legal and fiscal localization needs and minimize local enhancements.
  • Experience in supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect triage.
  • Ability to manage issues and risks in alignment with the central team, client transition manager, and local stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases.
  • Strong English language skills. Proficiency in local Central and Eastern European (CEE) languages is required, while knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
  • Consumer goods industry experience.
