You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading the development and execution of the customer data analytics-focused product strategy, with a strong emphasis on utilizing customer data for insightful analysis and enhancing product offerings.
  • Defining and communicating a data analytics strategy, prioritization, and timelines for the Customer Data Analytics Platform.
  • Ensuring tools are built and scaled to support the analytical needs of internal teams in extracting valuable insights from customer data.
  • Operating with a product mindset to connect internal users to the Customer Data Analytics Platform, ensuring all internal teams have access to comprehensive and meaningful customer data for analysis.
  • Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success, with a focus on utilizing customer data to monitor and optimize product performance through analytics.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics, customer insights, and data management, identifying opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Walmart Connect, Data Ventures, Walmart +, and Marketing teams to deliver world-class data analytics solutions that drive informed decision-making and enhance overall product value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required/MBA a plus.
  • 8+ years in Product Management including at least 2 years of experience working in customer identity. Retail industry experience is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience building and managing a team of high performing product managers.
  • Quantitative or technical background is preferred.
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize.
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver results.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful product roadmaps and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market trends in the retail space.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
