The COB & CM Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.Responsibilities:

  • The COB & CM Senior Analyst supports Citigroup's Continuity of Business (COB) organization within Global Operations & Technology Risk Management (OTRM).
  • The role of the Sr. Analyst is to conduct quality assurance (“QA”) reviews on Continuity of Business (COB) third party vendors across all Global Products/Functions (“Sectors”) and Regions by applying a risk-based methodology.
  • Produce requirements documentation in both written and diagrammatic form.
  • Data analysis and Excel modeling skills.
  • Business knowledge of documentation type and purpose.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Track record as a strong analyst – recognized as able to deliver work in pressured environments.
  • Hands on approach and able to manage own work load whilst taking direction.
  • Attention to detail and ability to discuss document and confirm process flows.
  • Sufficiently experienced to provide feedback for areas of improvement and realign strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborative approach, must be able to work closely with senior business sponsors and promote consensus decisions that are right for the organization.
  • Flexibility and Autonomy are essential as some travel and out of hours work may be required.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years Experience in Third Party/third party oversight, risk and relationship management.
  • Experience of technology project management, Data modeling and workflow mapping.
  • 2+ years experience working with internal/external audit/regulatory groups is preferred.
  • Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

  • Work within the global Enterprise Resilience function, supporting regulation planning and integration team, helping to create a global framework and supporting the implementation teams in delivery of compliance objectives.
  • Develop documents to support local jurisdictional operational resilience requirements.
  • Follow emerging industry trends and potential disrupters to segments and strategy in relation to operational resilience.
  • Deliver specific ad-hoc analysis and tactical support in preparation for business and management meetings.
  • Grasp key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and create clear written presentations/communications.
  • Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
  • Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Report writing skills essential for delivery of annual regulatory submissions.
