Job responsibilities include:
Create and refine algorithms for robust imagealignment/registration,segmentation, classification, and outlier detection tailored to the inspection systems.
Collaborate with the hardware team on optical imaging calibration, image quality, and error analysis based on algorithm performance.
Act as the algorithm representative during system level hardware/software integration.
Develop production-level code, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
Contribute ideas and insights to advance technological capabilities and product offerings.
Provide escalation support and troubleshooting as necessary.
Required Skills andQualifications:
Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Solid theoretical background in image processing and computer vision.
Familiarity with optical imaging and calibration techniques.
Proficient in C/C++, solid Python programming and object-oriented programming skills.
Educational Requirements:
Doctorate (PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, with no prior work experience required.
Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD + 0 yrs, MS degree + 3, OR BS degree + 5
