About the Role
Uber for Business is looking for a highly strategic, detail-oriented Partnership Manager to own and grow our automotive API integration ecosystem. This person will manage a $50M+ book of existing partnerships while also sourcing and closing new API deals with leading automotive software providers.
You’ll need to be comfortable leading complex deals, building long-term relationships, and operating with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a $50M+ book of API integration partners, including contract renewals, QBRs, and ongoing health checks
- Lead negotiations and close deals with new strategic partners, including scoping the opportunity, aligning on business terms, and driving contracting
- Run technical discovery and collaborate with Uber’s API team on implementation planning and tech syncs
- Work closely with partner BD and engineering teams to align on product roadmap, co-sell strategy, and growth initiatives
- Collaborate with Uber sales to design and operationalize co-sell models for integrations
- Coordinate with marketing and events to support go-to-market launches, asset creation, and awareness campaigns
- Manage rebate programs, billing flows, and reporting in collaboration with Finance and Operations
- Support executive-level relationships with our most strategic partners, ensuring alignment and long-term value
- Manage strategic relationships with OEMs to support joint initiatives and dealership adoption of Uber’s solutions
- Lead OEM partnership pilots from proposal through execution, including regional rollout strategy, co-marketing, and pilot dealership engagement
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise account management, or a related field
- Proven track record managing large, complex partnerships and/or closing high-value enterprise deals
- Experience negotiating contracts and navigating commercial and legal terms
- Strong understanding of APIs and working with technical teams on integrations
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with Legal, Marketing, Product, and Engineering
- Ability to work directly with executive-level stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong project management, organization, and communication skills
- Experience engaging with large enterprise or OEM clients, preferably in the automotive sector, and managing external stakeholders across multiple levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in or with the automotive industry, especially with dealership software providers (DMS, CRM, LMS)
- Familiarity with embedded partnerships and B2B2C business models
- Experience managing rebate structures, usage-based pricing, or embedded revenue-sharing agreements
- Background in working on technical deals involving API products, including scoping, pricing, and go-to-market planning
- Familiarity working with automotive OEMs and their dealership ecosystems.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$110,000 per year - USD$122,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$110,000 per year - USD$122,000 per year.
