You will lead the design, modeling, and documentation of wet services infrastructure, including comprehensive calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating design outputs and ensuring rigorous quality assurance. Collaboration will be key as you work alongside authorities, clients, consultants, and contractors. You'll guide projects from concept through detailed design to final Authority approvals, developing IFC documentation and supporting the construction team.
Your focus will encompass water, wastewater, irrigation, and stormwater network systems, including associated pumping stations, transmission, distribution, and main trunk lines. Additionally, you'll lead hydrology and flood studies, liaising with roads and grading teams to implement effective flood protection and mitigation strategies. Your knowledge of sewage and water treatment plants will be a valuable asset in enhancing project outcomes.
As a seasoned professional you will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering, with a Master's degree being advantageous. A minimum of 15 years of Civil Engineering experience in Wet Services is required, along with proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools, GIS, and Civil 3D/BIM for infrastructure projects.
Your skillset should include the ability to independently draw and integrate utilities networks and conduct clash analysis. Expertise in software including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, WaterCAD/Gems, SewerCAD/Gems, and StormCAD is essential. You should have comprehensive knowledge of current technology and be adept at selecting appropriate engineering software for projects.
Demonstrated leadership potential for managing utilities engineers, BIM engineers, and CAD technicians is crucial. Proficiency in BIM technology for design, construction, and commissioning is required. Lastly, you must have extensive experience in detailed design of large water pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, sewage systems, stormwater networks, and related structures.
