Your key responsibilities
As an EM Senior, you will be responsible for capacity management supporting deployment and the development of the Consulting client-serving professionals. You will be responsible for reporting requirements in order to effectively deploy client-serving professionals and provide them with meaningful career experiences. You'll receive regular supervision on a day-to-day basis to set appropriate priorities.
Deployment:
- Support Consulting EM SSL Leads in addressing complex scheduling assignments.
- Conduct skill and bio/CV searches that focuses on matching project need(s) with required skills, development opportunities and project risk.
- Assist with the creation/maintenance of accurate personnel and client project schedules.
- Proactively identify resources that will become availability in short term (i.e. next 2-3 weeks)
- Proactively monitor and highlight unassigned resources in order to minimize unassigned time
- Regularly communicate material schedule changes to the appropriate Experience Manager
- Communicate regularly with Experience Management team on the status of staffing requirements
Teaming:
- Demonstrate effective teaming with EM team(s) by proactively/creatively responding to requests.
- Involved in ad hoc projects as required (i.e. task forces, reporting, process improvement committees, training manuals etc.)
- Identify ways to improve Experience Management processes
- Participate in the orientation of new hires by providing an overview of the Experience Management function and operating model
- Partner with the Talent Team (i.e. HR) on Performance Management initiatives
- Actively supports Experience Management enablers including Retain; EYA; EY Discover; Mercury, etc.
- Work with peers across the Canadian EM team by contributing to EM priorities; task forces; and/or projects
Reporting:
- Act as a subject matter resource on EM tools/enablers
- Assist with the creation of Service Line; Market and/or Competency reporting including utilization performance; forecasts; variance analysis; and capacity management analytics
- Create reports and pivot tables for deployment data
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Experience staffing consulting roles/professionals
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient in other Microsoft applications
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
- English language skills - very strong written and verbal communication
- Proven client service focus, with an ability to resolve issues quickly, with a sense of urgency
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexible in adapting to constantly changing priorities
- Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Confident at working independently and a self-starter
- Adept at handling multiple tasks, with strong organizational skills
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a professional services firm desirable
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and professionals nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role. Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $62,800to $94,200. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
