Serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities. Provides focused quality engineering support within new product development, operational, or system/services support.
As a co-op at Boston Scientific, you will…
Lead in the implementation of assurances, design and process controls, and CAPA systems designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
Act as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
Assure in the development and execution of streamlined business systems which effectively identify and resolve quality issues.
Your Impact
Examples of meaningful work:
Supported completion of Design Deliverables including but not limited to Risk Management Documentation to meet current EU MDR requirements for an on-time submission to newer EU regulation to maintain commercialization of products.
Analyzed data to updated statistical requirements based on revised Risk Index criteria for metal stent products protecting the $20 million in revenue
Your Qualifications:
Preferably pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering. Other degrees considered. BS students must be graduating in 2026 or 2027.
Desire to work in fast paced Cross-Functional Teams to maintain and support quality-engineering methodologies, systems, and practices which meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Display basic understanding of data collection, analysis and interpretation tools, techniques and outcomes.
