YOUR IMPACT
As a material & failure analysis engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Cisco's products by:
Conduct failure analysis investigation of sub-system assembly, components, or PCB.
Support Component engineering on component qualification.
Perform hands-on physical and material analysis.
Perform electrical, mechanical or material test and optical inspection.
Perform sample preparation cross section, chemical & mechanical delayering.
Support Sr FA engineers on complex FA investigations
Prepare failure analysis report with exceptional visualizations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Electrical, material, mechanical or chemical engineering, and at least one year of hands-on experience.
Experience in failure analysis tools and techniques: Optical microscope, basic bench top, etc
Experience in material analysis tools and techniques.
Strong desire to learn new failure analysis techniques and passionate in working in a lab.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skill and passion for learning.
Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
