Job Role:
- Design verification and Performance verification of the GPU IP RTL involving Test Bench development, test writing , architecture/functional modeling, functional coverage closure and debug
- Define functional/performance verification strategy for RTL and develop execution test plans for the same.
- Understand and drive various GPU and Machine Learning and/or AI Performance benchmarks on RTL via Simulation or Emulation to achieve the planned performance targets.
- Debug and root cause the performance bottlenecks in the design and influence the Arch and micro-arch design teams on appropriate changes to the design.
- Ensure that validation sign off meets all the required matrices of coverage, pass rates, performance criterion as well as feature goals.
- Guiding and mentoring junior engineers in the team.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Masters in Engineering with 3 to 8 years of RTL Design Verification Experience.
- A background in IP verification at Unit Level, Cluster Level or Top Level.
- A background in Computer Architecture or CPU Verification or GPU Pipelines or GPU IP verification is desirable.
- Experience in test plan creation, building Test benches and verification coverage.
- Programming skills: System Verilog, UVM, Assembly, C/C++, Python, and Ruby Languages
- Skills with data analysis, RTL debugging and problem solving
- Candidate should be able to lead a small team and guide junior engineers.
- Should be able to understand and explaining complex technical concepts
