Work With

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will collaborate closely with software development teams and operations staff to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the company's software systems and infrastructure. Your role bridges the gap between software engineering and operations.

• System Reliability: Work with development teams to design and implement scalable, maintainable systems, continuously seeking improvements and optimizations in infrastructure and application architecture.
• Automation: Build andmaintaintools and scripts for automating repetitive tasks, deployment processes, monitoring, and incident responses, reducing manual interventions and minimizing human errors.
• Incident Management:Participatein on-call rotations, respond to incidents and service outages, promptlyinvestigateand resolve system issues, and conduct post-mortems to prevent future incidents.
• Monitoring and Alerting:Establishand maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactivelyidentifypotential issues, ensuringtimelynotifications to relevant teams during critical situations.
• Capacity Planning and Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance,identifybottlenecks, collaborate with engineering teams for performance optimization, and plan for future growth.
• Documentation: Develop andmaintaincomprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures to enhance knowledge sharing and team efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Open to a recent or upcoming graduate with a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or a bachelor’s degree graduate with 3 years of relevant experience, or a candidate with equivalent practical experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledgeable in cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and familiar with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible for automation and configuration management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced in software development withproficiencyin programming languages like Python, Go, or Java.
• Familiarwith monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana,DataDog, andThousandEyes.
• Understands networking principles and protocols.
• Capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent problem-solving skills.
