What you’ll do:

Expected start date:September 2024


Duration:6 - 12 months

Flexible, Part time - Full time (20 - 40 hrs./week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to security assessments and questionnaires from customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and formulate responses that address customer concerns.
  • Review and analyze security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical support and clarification to customers regarding our security measures and practices.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and reports related to security assessments and customer inquiries.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.

Educational requirements

Cybersecurity Certification and Bachelor’s degree (completed or pursuing) in Cybersecurity

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including network security, encryption, access control, and incident response
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or work experience in cybersecurity or a related field
  • Familiarity with security assessment frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cyber Security (CC), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus
