As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Project outcomes across the Darwin Correctional Precinct. This will require the preparation, planning, executing and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the on-site facility team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling financials, work schedules and resources (Internal and External) while managing project stakeholders (Internal and External).
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update asset management plan, including presenting to the client annually on the previous years results and future plans.
Develop and prepare project outlines for large capital and lifecycle projects
Maintain and update asset data, including condition assessments to be presented to the client
Delivery of Projects in coordination with other FM and PM support resources
Prepare and manage 3rd party asset condition report on a three yearly basis
In conjunction with the Contract Manager prepare and submit accurate forecasting for capital and lifecycle works
Ensure timeframes are kept during projects and manage stakeholder engagement (Internal and External)
Manage the contractual requirements of the project to ensure Honeywell’s exposure is minimised and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation.
Develop and maintain standard methodologies for the delivery and control of projects
Develop and maintain appropriate project management documentation including project plan, communication plan, project reports, implementation plans, project schedules and meeting agendas/minutes.
Track the projects progress and prepare monthly progress claims and project reports for submission to the client.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
Eng or project management degree or equivalent technical or management experience required.
Ability to successfully obtain clearance to work in a prison environment
Proven experience in facilities and asset management
Working knowledge of asset lifecycles and experience with condition assessments
Work history on large commercial sites or correctional facilities (Preferred)
Thorough knowledge of developing and updating project plans
Excellent computer, written and oral communication and negotiating skills
Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
