Your ImpactYou will be responsible for managing multi-functional programs and delivering innovative software for Cisco Networking Engineering (CNE). You will be encouraged to manage software programs, complex solutions, and releases in close collaboration with multi-functional teams.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to plan requirements, develop timelines, identify, and mitigate risks to product deliveries.
- Drive technical trade-off discussions in collaboration with multi-functional leaders across Cisco and work with customer and account teams to prioritize, plan, and status.
- Implement process improvements and best practices, optimizing program planning and development.
- Support other Program Managers in driving end-to-end engineering planning and development across multiple product and engineering teams.
- Maintain control of multi-functional dependencies and program execution, ensuring project completion on schedule, with quality, and within budget constraints.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- 5+ years of validated experience as a Technical Program Manager, leading and delivering complex technical programs in Agile/Waterfall environments.
- Experience in product development lifecycle management, SDLC methodologies, and software product engineering integration.
- Networking domain knowledge and open source exposure.
- Hands-on experience with collaboration tools like Jira, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, Project Plan, SharePoint, Confluence, and basic coding/scripting knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in identifying, analyzing, and resolving program issues and driving end-to-end program execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Executive presence and good communication skills to establish rapport with engineering collaborators.
- Ability to navigate through uncertainty while maintaining focus on program objectives.
