Your key responsibilities:

As a Deal Advisory Senior Associate within Transaction, Strategy and Execution team, you will be a vital member of the pre and post deal Technology transactions team advising clients across all industries and sectors.

Skills & attributes for success:

  • Assist in Cyber and Data Privacy Diligences while reporting to Managers and above. Support project delivery.
  • Facilitate the delivery of cyber and Data Privacy due diligences by preparing diligence IRLs, workbooks, and report writing.
  • Provide expertise in cybersecurity, including threat assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response, as well as data privacy, covering data protection, classification, and the review of data protection policies.
  • Aid key decision-makers in developing and executing transaction strategies with a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Enhance your business acumen by linking cybersecurity risks and opportunities to the operational and financial impact on clients.
  • Contribute to IT due diligences, post-deal integrations, and carve-out engagements.
  • Participate in business development activities to identify and research opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Assist in shaping and delivering projects to meet and exceed client expectations and our quality standards.
  • Contribute to practice development initiatives, including the development of tools, accelerators, methodologies, and market propositions, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.
  • Review intrusion assessment reports on the target’s mobile application to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure the app complies with industry security standards.
  • Provide an overview of data privacy practices, policies, and procedures, with associated commentary relative to global best practices.
  • Take responsibility for Quality and Risk Management (Q&RM) to ensure client work is consistently delivered in compliance with EY's quality standards.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Strong analytical ability to draw conclusions and triangulate from large amounts of unstructured cyber information and sources, coupled with excellent problem-solving, project management, and facilitation skills.
  • A solution-oriented mindset and an unyielding positive attitude towards tasks and team collaboration.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity, IT governance, data management, cloud security, and architecture Eg., CISA, ISO 27001, CISSP etc. are a plus.
