About the Role:
As the Senior Director of Product Strategy, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing product strategies for Global Tech Platforms (GTP). This pivotal role involves leading a core and a virtual team of product managers, with a crucial focus on boosting platform adoption, stability, and optimizing user experience and key business outcomes.
Your responsibilities will extend beyond the realms of traditional product strategy. You will be expected to articulate and implement the platform product strategy, identifying blockers to adoption, and understanding and enhancing the current product strategies of the pillars.
You will also be entrusted with the responsibility of providing a product perspective on cross-functional GTP initiatives, performing a gap analysis of services that we're not providing today but may be needed based on market trends and business needs.
Moreover, you will be tasked with developing relationships across GT to drive cross-functional collaboration, creating a framework for product across GTP to standardize product approach, and driving analysis of build vs buy solutions across GTP to fill product needs and gaps. You will also participate in investment and resource allocation discussions at the GTP level and partner with leadership to distill specific product strategies for wider consumption.
This position also necessitates extensive program planning, technical expertise, influential communication, and analytical problem-solving to drive product success and strategic alignment across the organization. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our products not only meet market demands but also drives our GTP strategy.
What you'll do:
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Translate adoption trends into actionable insights for product refinement and roadmap adjustments.
- Establish frameworks/methods to influence and/or drive technical decisions across initiatives.
Program Planning & Development:
Requires knowledge of:
- Program management techniques, tools, and frameworks; Benefits analysis; Program planning tools and techniques; Communication tools and processes.
- Techniques to translate requirements for software and hardware assets or platform capabilities.
- System/platform design concepts and architecture; Emerging tools and technologies.
- Infrastructure components, cloud, data, and development platforms; Hardware/software lifecycles; Site Reliability Engineering concepts; Cloud computing technologies; Service management concepts.
Deliver Program & Results:
Requires knowledge of:
- Risk management methodologies; Project management tools, techniques, and methodologies; Financial management tools and processes; Budgeting; Change management; Critical paths; Negotiation methodologies.
- Data-driven decision making into ways of working for an organization.

Requires knowledge of:
- Develop artifacts that influence decisions and drive change.
- Present to executive leadership/diverse, organization-wide audiences, positioning arguments/data with well-structured stories.
Analytical Problem Solving:
Requires knowledge of:
- Data analysis and research; Problem-solving techniques and frameworks; Data-driven and fact-based decision-making techniques/methodologies.
Program Stakeholder Management:
Requires knowledge of:
- Stakeholder identification and engagement; Processes and ways of working across various groups; Relationship management techniques; Techniques to manage conflicting stakeholder priorities and ambiguity; Stakeholder management strategy.
- Define stakeholder engagement frameworks and manage stakeholders to influence decisions and outcomes related to the end result of the program.
