The (Senior) Graphic Designer plays a key role in designing experiences and communication for wavespace London Bridge, both internally and externally. You will enhance the client experience in our London flagship wavespace, both online and in-person. You are a talented storyteller who uses various media to create immersive experiences for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate to design high-profile client experiences, considering every aspect of the client journey. Discuss business objectives and requirements, then create and execute to professional standards.
- Creation of content (for example, interactive presentations, illustration, animation, video content) for client experiences.
- Keep wavespace London Bridge’s design standards across all assets
- A keen eye for detail
- Work with the CX and Creative lead to find new and innovative ways to meet and redefine design briefs, surprising and delighting clients within time and cost constraints.
- Collaboratively create high quality outputs in a timely fashion
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
- Estimate the time needed to complete a job to effectively manage expectations and resources
- Work with a range of media, and keep up to date with emerging technologies
- Proofread to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches and work on layouts
- Work as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists when needed
- Execution of a broad range of creative projects across physical, digital and motion
Skills and attributes for success
- 3+ years of relevant design experience
- Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
- Excellent communication skills to interpret and negotiate briefs with clients and stakeholders
- A flexible approach when working in a team
- Application experience: Adobe Creative Suite, Whiteboards, Office (PowerPoint is essential), Premiere Pro, and After Effects (nice to have)
- Strong presentation skills (both written and verbal), with experience or interest in impactful storytelling
- Confidence with ambiguity
- Bias for action: can be counted on to deliver
- Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Accuracy and attention to detail when finalizing designs
- Open to feedback and willing to make changes to your designs

Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Design experience across strategy, innovation, change management, service design, customer experience, technology, supply chain, finance, or other business advisory specialism
- Experience designing for digital workspaces, and the ability to quickly pick up new software / tools quickly as the wavespace toolkit evolves
- Experience of designing multiple day events for external clients
- Video/editing/animation/web development skills
- Relevant degree, HND or design-based qualification
- Passion for interior and experiential design.
