Job Description
As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for the supply planning of the locally manufactured products and will be accountable for our Distribution & Logistics operations in Turkiye. This includes generating supply plan for locally manufactured goods and planning API requirements in alignment with the production plan, while monitoring the inventory levels according to the most recent demand forecast and working in a fast-paced environment managing stakeholders across multiple levels. You will act as Single Point of Contact in managing our 3PL partner and work in close collaboration with the local Finance, Regulatory, Commercial Operations teams and other functions.
Job Description:
Develop supply plan for locally manufactured products, aligned with the most recent sales forecast according to supply lead-times, maintain close collaboration with regulatory and quality functions to mitigate any impact on supply plan in response to any regulation change.
Generate API requirement plan in accordance with supply plan & stock levels at the toller. Ensure on-time API supply by close collaboration with global supply planners. Reconcile API stock levels monthly.
Participate in country S&OP meetings with country leadership team representing Supply Chain team for local supply and D&L topics.
Manage local 3PL operations: Monitor 3PL performance against KPIs, Manage Distribution & Logistics budget, People management of external contractor in 3PL, including weekly site visits to the 3PL location.
Inventory management, stock reconciliation between 3PL Warehouse Management System and SAP for both API and finished goods.
Active collaboration with internal cross-functional partners (Finance, Sales Ops, IT, Regulatory, Quality) and service providers in line with local regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of related experience with proven track record in supply chain/ logistics preferably in pharmaceutical industry,
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable university,
Proven knowledge in Planning & Inventory Management, having used supply chain planning programs (SAP APO, Rapid Response),
Solid experience in managing and analyzing complex data sets using advanced reporting tools,
Comprehensive computer literacy (Microsoft Office and SAP),
Fluency in both written and verbal English.
