About the role

Qualcomm Technologies Inc SoC ML and SoC CAD teams develop tools, flows, and methodologies for different aspects of VLSI design. The position will be within these teams and requires a solid background in computer science and combinatorial optimization.

You will work to develop CAD solutions, methodologies, and internal applications for enabling technology and implementation flows in advanced technology nodes (4nm and below). This position is on an interdisciplinary team with experience in hardware, software, and algorithmic fields to face large-scale microelectronic modern challenges with a data-driven mindset.

Experience & Education we would love to see:

• Automated reasoning approaches of artificial intelligence and/or operation research

• Graph theory algorithms and data-structures

• Skills in Python are required.

• The ability to collaborate with engineers in an interdisciplinary team to understand the needs from electronic design requirements.

• The ability to communicate and engage across a variety of audiences.

We would also like to see:

• Experience with data science approaches and data visualisation tools for large-scale problems is a plus.

• Experience on C and C++ object-oriented programming is a plus.

• Experience in Synthesis or Physical Design Flows, CAD tool development.
