As a Partner Solution Architect with AWS, you will be responsible for the technology strategy and senior level relationships with strategic partnerships within the AWS Software Partner path. You will ideate with your partners on joint solution development and co-innovation, build working prototypes and demonstrations that communicate the functionality of AWS services, and lead deep architectural discussions to ensure their solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. You will be a thought leader on topics that are relevant to your partners’ customers in public forums such as blogs, papers, webinars, and speaking engagements. You will serve as a subject matter expert on your partners’ solutions within AWS, enabling the field and technical teams on deploying, operating, securing, and integrating with those solutions.30% travel is required.Key job responsibilities
* Work with partners to deeply understand their business and technical needs. Develop solutions that make the best use of the AWS Cloud platform.
* Provide architectural guidance and recommendations on building applications efficiently and reliably on AWS platform
* Assist solution providers with the definition of strategies that will enable them to present their offering on the AWS platform
* Develop technical content, such as white papers and reference architectures, that can be used by our customers and partners to assist them in deploying cloud-based solutions
* Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community
* Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS cloud
* Scope each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria

- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

- Experience supporting ISV partners and programs
- Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- AWS Certification, eg. AWS Solutions Architect Associate
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise application architectures to meet business requirements in complex environments
- Understanding of security, risk and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems and networking connectivity
