In this role, you will be part of a leadership team that is accountable for the quality of our end-to-end service. You will adopt a portfolio view, managing end-to-end solutions that include multiple products and delivery channels. You will coach and mentor colleagues, collaborate with stakeholders, design, and deliver solutions based on intelligent automation, data, metrics, and business process modelling to revolutionize the firm’s processes.

As an Operations Automation Lead in Client Account Services, part of the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will manage a team to delivers solutions, alongside strategic tools, to enable full adoption of strategic party, account and instrument reference data, improve operational processes, and reduce onboarding time and cost to serve.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead a team that engages in all aspects of process automation including requirements gathering, solution architecture, solution development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement, while adhering to the firm’s standards, controls, and intelligence automation solutions governance.
  • Contribute to the operational automation strategy in partnership with key stakeholders and technology to create the required infrastructure to support the capability of intelligence automation.
  • Identifies, designs, and manages data, metrics, intelligent automation solutions and business process models which allow the team to automate functions and deliver benefits for capacity creation, risk reduction, and streamline operational processes.
  • Coaches and mentors team members and stakeholders on the automation tools and potentially creates and delivers training courses and the curriculum around workflow automation
  • Manages and ensures the delivery of Objectives and Key Results (OKR), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and/or metrics with key stakeholders to define benefit from the operational automation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in delivering intelligent automation or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Financial services experience, preferably within investment banking.
  • Significant experience delivering using agile methodologies and intelligent automation tools
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze complex data and to develop accurate conclusions with deep comprehension of the business to understand risk implications
  • Significant business and technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies focused on analyzing complex operating models, anticipating issues and use of appropriate technology to mitigate risk
  • Advanced knowledge of one or multiple intelligence automation applications and programming languages
  • Experience in coaching and directing less experienced team members on automation tools
  • Experience in meeting the needs of users across a variety of channels
  • Proven ability to develop long-term vision and objectives

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • MBA or Master’s degree
  • Advanced skills and understanding of business analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Knowledge of product ownership tools, terms and concepts as applied to different phases of delivery
