In your role as a Senior Manager, you will:

  • You’ll lead the successful delivery of Indirect Tax engagements in JB, taking a professional, practical and commercial approach and ensuring technical excellence
  • Identify opportunities in the market and lead on developing our commercial proposition to new and existing clients
  • Build and maintain tax relationships with our own clients
  • Advise how indirect taxes such as GST, SST, or Customs matters impact clients’ supply chain and financial and accounting systems.
  • Identify and address areas of risk, advise clients on the taxation implication of international trade and assist them in complying with customs regulations.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Substantial indirect tax experience within a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm, law firm or from working with a large financial services organisation
  • Strong technical tax skills in the field of indirect tax (GST, SST, Customs matters)
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate leadership skills in regard to market facing initiatives, client delivery and staff development.
  • Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical and able to work under pressure
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Foster an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A professional qualification in Tax
  • Hands-on experience in indirect tax technical review
