Hybrid Roles:

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead engineering teams to develop highly capable, scalable, and robust manufacturing processes and technologies, and successfully transfer into operations.
  • Collaborate with multi-site R&D and Manufacturing teams to create innovative and manufacturable product designs.
  • Lead teams in the achievement of organizational goals. Recruit, guide, coach, direct and develop direct reports and organizational talent.
  • Ensure knowledge driven approach to process and product development, and that functional excellence is exhibited in all product and technology development projects.
  • Prioritize and manage execution of the functional deliverables and projects associated with the Product Development Process and Quality System
  • Create an inclusive, high-performance, and entrepreneurial environment, while fostering a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrate effective change leadership.
  • Build strategic partnerships and effectively collaborate cross-functionally to further departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a technical resource and provide on-going feedback and coaching to direct reports and PD project team.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline and 7+ years of related work experience; or master’s degree and 5+ years of related work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience as a leader of technical people.
  • Team oriented approach to projects that drives collaboration & execution in technology areas.
  • Experience providing guidance to and training engineering teams associated within development projects, motivating individuals to achieve results, and driving objectives to completion while maintaining a strong working environment.
  • Agility to adapt to rapidly changing demands and priorities, driving innovative solutions and operational excellence.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 10%


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams throughout a product life cycle from exploratory to commercialization and end of life.
  • Experienced in design and manufacturing process of steerable device.
  • Cross-site working experience of NPD projects and / or production line transfer projects.
  • Proven leadership and management of a technical group providing coaching and development.
  • Vision to see what technologies are going to be needed in the future and ability to get them started with little oversight or guidance.
