DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities will include driving C-level and field relationships with your partners and with the AWS sales field, guiding the development and launch of joint solutions with large global technology companies and executing joint GTM plans globally. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships while managing the day-to-day partner interactions, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption.
Key job responsibilities
- Ensure that AWS is each partner’s preferred public cloud computing platform across all partner product lines.
- Understand the technical requirements of each partner and work closely with the internal AWS development team to guide the direction of our product offerings.- Manage complex negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of sales, business or partner development, and/or channel management experience.
- Experience engaging, influencing, and presenting to C-level executives.
- Experience presenting and articulating complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
- Verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Must possess leadership skills and the ability to build a Canada-wide strategy


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years in program development for a technology company
- Direct experience working with AWS consulting and/or technology partners or you have been an employee at a large AWS partner
- Developed and operated five or more global partner programs
- Advanced understanding of AWS, cloud architecture and infrastructure
- Ability to articulate and present complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
- Organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment Inquisitive; will always ask questions to see the “big picture” or get a handle on the details
