- Develop and institute production systems that serve the team. Ensure their effective use.
- Engage performers, discipline leads, project leadership, and discipline management for enrollment, encouragement, and directives to engage effectively in planning.
- Lead recurring planning sessions and Daily Check-ins.
- Facilitate scope breakdown and work-structuring to enable a coordinated flow of small multidiscipline batches of work.
- Guide the team and leadership in the prioritization of work. Respond with agility to evolving project needs.
> Integrate stakeholders, including Trade Partners, into the design process.
- Coordinate trade constructability engagement with design.
- If trades are performing design, ensure that their work satisfies next-customer needs and that trade commitments are managed.
> Responsible for technical quality assurance and control.
- Ensure that required reviews occur and are documented, and that appropriate registered professionals stamp work. Always move the team toward building quality into the work.
- Responsible for package ownership and production, deliverables issuance, and coordinating documentation. Manage preparation, facilitation, and adjudication of customer design reviews. Prepare meeting notes.
- Work with design disciplines and design partners to forecast staffing needs, resolve staffing gaps, and forecast effort to complete. Lead scope and cost change management. Prepare and negotiate changes.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Design Lead for advanced technology, semiconductor, and/or data center facilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE)
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
