EMEA Equities Market Risk Manager
Responsibilities:
- You will provide coverage for a broad range of topics, from portfolio reviews to capital planning, stress testing, risk infrastructure changes, or regulatory responses with the PRA/Fed/OCC etc.
- This role requires close interaction with the trading desk and other risk and support groups (i.e. Finance, Quants, Technology) while maintaining independence. Derivative product knowledge and quantitative skills are necessary.
- You will review and challenge trade proposals, new product initiatives and limit changes within Equities, providing recommendations to senior management. You will contribute to market risk management governance and control improvements.
What we are looking for:
- Solid academic background with an honours degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or other numerate subject
- Knowledge of financial markets and derivative products, whether in Equities or another asset class
- Experience in Market Risk Management or in a related function in front office.

- Quantitative analytical skills, knowledge and interest of financial markets
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
