As a key developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and delivering essential components of our advanced security management system. You'll contribute significantly to the development lifecycle, influencing the design, development, building, deployment, and support of our cutting-edge AWS service.You’ll join a diverse team of software and security engineers, product managers, designers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us earn customers' trust by delivering the highest standards for operations and security. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key job responsibilities
* Design and implement key features of the security management system using Rust and/or Java
* Collaborate with the development team to deliver global, highly available, and scalable services.
* Apply security techniques to enhance the system's defenses.
* Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technology into the security management process.A day in the life

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
