Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create, document, and maintain frameworks, libraries, and tools used across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Train and mentor internal users to effectively utilize our tools and frameworks.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of our software.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation required by regulatory bodies.
  • Create clear, detailed documentation for use by engineers to streamline their work and enhance productivity.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years’ work experience in software engineering
  • Proficient in multiple object-oriented programming languages (Python, C#)
  • Comfortable scripting in various languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PHP)
  • Experienced with version control systems like TFS and Git
  • Experience with browser UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience with package managers such as NuGet and pip
  • Experience with SQL databases

Preferred qualifications:

  • Belief that writing unit and integration tests is a fundamental responsibility for any engineer
  • Experience working in agile environments such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Commitment to high-quality work standards
  • Ability to think outside the box and demonstrate creativity and flexibility for innovative solutions
  • Genuine interest in continuously learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies
  • Collaborative mindset and comfortable working effectively within a team
  • Knowledge of software development and test methodologies - preferably in relation to the complexities created by a regulated environment.
  • Ability to define and maintain an API that is used by multiple teams and multiple projects over a long time
