The Business Associate for the Technology & Communications Investment Banking (IB) Business Execution Group is an intermediate level position that will be responsible for supporting the overall activities of the business based out of Citi’s San Francisco and New York offices. The Business Associate may support activities such as the tracking of business performance and productivity measures, revenue and expense management, talent management, client administration, and other administrative needs and ad hoc projects as necessary. More specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain revenue pipeline, new business mandates, client opportunities, and tracking of other client strategic initiatives
  • Manage client target market and conduct market share analysis
  • Conduct revenue analysis, manage and prepare expense budgets, and provide reporting on key performance metrics
  • Prepare client invoices
  • Assist in preparing group presentation materials for internal and external constituents
  • Assist in talent management initiatives, recruiting processes, and headcount planning
  • Contributing to preparation of quarterly and annual business reviews
  • Execute expense management activities including the processing of vendor invoices
  • Drive and optimize reporting and operating processes to efficiently support the business
  • Monitor strict adherence to governance and ensure risks are addressed, setting high standards of professionalism across all functions

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Self-starter, motivated, eager to learn
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts, functional and technical knowledge
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Consistently detail-oriented, goal-oriented and able to work in a team
  • Proven financial reporting and presentation skills
  • Consistently develop and maintain effective work relationships
  • Proven ability to conduct research/analysis and organize findings
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
