Operational Resilience Lead

The Operational Resilience Lead accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.
What you’ll do
The Operational Resilience Lead role will support the Enterprise Resilience team in ensuring that the Operations and Technology aspects of the overall Operational Resilience programme are delivered, and that ongoing over sight of this area continues. This role requires a seasoned professional who will assist in applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function.
- Work within the global Enterprise Resilience function, supporting regulation planning and integration team, helping to input into a global framework and supporting the implementation teams in delivery of the framework.
- Develop documents to support local jurisdictional operational resilience governance requirements in relation to operational resilience.
- Follow emerging industry trends and potential disrupters to segments and strategy in relation to operational resilience.
- Grasp key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and create clear written presentations/communications.
- Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
- Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

- Sufficiently experienced to provide feedback for areas of improvement and realign strategy accordingly.
What we’ll need from you
- Relevant experience in Third Party/third party oversight, risk and relationship management.
- Report writing skills essential.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Track record as a strong analyst – recognized as able to deliver work in pressured environments.
- Experience of technology project management, Data modelling and workflow mapping.
- Experience working with internal/external audit/regulatory groups is preferred.
- Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation).
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
