DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement scalable cloud native software solutions using modern technology stacks to deliver highly available, performant, and resilient products. Provide technical, architectural leadership and direction to the development team and wider stakeholders. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes. Learns new skills and keep up with industry innovations to deliver solutions that automate manual or cumbersome work. Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debug code written by others as well as evangelize Test Driven development approach. Build prototypes for demonstration and illustration purposes for peer groups, Business partners, or senior leaders. Participate in project planning sessions with product owners, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Design and development of enterprise software applications using C#.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, WPF, Entity Framework, RabbitMQ, Redis, Microservices and REST; operating systems including Unix, Linux and Windows; web technologies including Angular, HTML, CSS, Nodejs, D3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Telerik controls; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Microservice architecture; Unit testing; Test Driven Development; container technologies such as Docker containers, Kubernetes; Public cloud services such as Azure, AWS or GCP; database technologies including SQL Server, MongoDB and Elastic Search; and Agile development model with participation in different scrum ceremonies including grooming, story point sizing, planning, standups, demos, sprint review and Retrospective meetings.
