We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to lead the on-time delivery of service product features, technical publications, training, global parts availability, and service process validation for our Premium CT product lines. This role offers broad exposure across the organization and spans the entire product lifecycle—from concept and development to validation and post-market support. It requires strong cross-functional collaboration and a deep understanding of system-level serviceability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Service Procedure Development : Define and document procedures for field modifications, calibrations, and part replacements to ensure efficient and safe service operations.
  • Serviceability Ownership : Own and manage product and subsystem requirements related to serviceability and diagnostics.
  • Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) Strategy : Develop FRU strategies and collaborate with external teams such as GPRS and Service Operations to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Quality Compliance : Maintain and support effective quality systems in accordance with GE Quality policies and Six Sigma standards.
  • Project Coordination : May lead other service engineers by developing work breakdown structures, project plans, and staffing strategies, and managing execution throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Technical Problem Solving : Apply advanced technical knowledge and cross-functional input to solve complex service-related challenges.
  • Independent Execution : Operate independently with a high level of functional expertise to influence and drive technical and project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with the online center, field engineers, customers, and program leadership to ensure deliverables align with broader program goals.
  • Mentorship : Support the development and mentoring of junior technical talent within the team.
  • Technology Ownership : Take ownership of assigned technologies that contribute to the product’s competitive technical differentiation.

Required Qualifications

  • Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Technical Expertise : Proficient in requirements management, quality management systems, and navigating regulatory compliance processes.
  • Documentation & Decision-Making : Demonstrated experience in developing technical documentation and contributing to program or project-level decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead engineering initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Organizational Agility : Experience operating within a matrixed organization, with strong influencing, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Work Location : This is an on-site role based in Waukesha, WI .
