Key job responsibilities
• Lead CS voice bot development, focusing on conversation quality, latency, throughput, and policy execution accuracy
• Drive voice AI technical strategy and roadmap across multiple Amazon marketplaces
• Partner with AGI and AWS teams to optimize voice models for customer service use cases
• Build scalable voice AI foundations enabling business teams to create custom automation solutions
• Ensure seamless integration between voice and text channels for consistent customer experience
• Guide team development and influence organization-level voice AI strategy with senior leadership

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
• More than ten years of experience in speech recognition, natural language processing, or machine learning
• Proven track record leading science teams in speech AI or conversational systems
• Expert knowledge of speech recognition, text-to-speech, and machine learning algorithms
• Experience with large-scale voice processing systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

* Ph.D. in related field
* Experience building enterprise-scale voice applications using large language models
* Knowledge of multilingual voice systems and acoustic modeling
