GE Healthcare develops industry-leading CT technologies and innovations to enhance patient care. As a CT Image Quality / Algorithm Engineer, you will lead the design and development of CT image quality enhancements/improvements and image reconstruction algorithms throughout the product lifecycle, including post-market and installed systems. This role reports directly to the CT Systems Engineering Manager.As a CT Image Quality / Algorithm Engineer you will spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge CT imaging solutions. This role involves collaborating with global experts to explore and integrate advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Learning (DL), into CT imaging solutions. You will work closely with multi-functional teams, such as CT systems engineering, software engineering, and clinical application experts, to create innovative and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Exploration : Partner with global experts to investigate and apply advanced CT and imaging technologies. Utilize broad technical expertise and experience to help resolve complex design issues with current products.
- Solution Development : Lead the creation of novel CT image quality improvements/enhancements by collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of various technological components through new product development programs.
- Expertise Utilization : Leverage your extensive knowledge in CT imaging, clinical applications, AI/DL, and software development to address complex technological challenges and develop new solutions.
- Quality and Compliance : Ensure all solutions adhere to Quality Management Systems, Risk Management protocols, and Regulatory compliance standards.
- Technical Leadership : Provide domain expertise to lead technical design reviews, investigate technical risks, and offer innovative solutions to achieve optimal system performance.
- Requirement Definition : Drive the definition of CT image quality requirements, sub-system/system integrations, verifications, and risk management through product programs.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Medical Imaging and Clinical Applications : In-depth understanding of medical imaging techniques and their clinical applications. Even better if experiences CT imaging.
- AI and Deep Learning : Understanding AI and DL technologies in medical imaging.
- Image quality assessments/Applications Development : Image quality assessment tools/Applications development experiences, with a focus on medical devices.
- Quality and Regulatory Compliance : Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, Risk Management, and Regulatory compliance requirements.
- Effective Communication Skills : Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely with business-level English communication.
