Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Enterprise Platforms Technology)

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Java 8+, SpringBoot and Web (REST) API development.

• 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or another cloud service.

• 1+ years of experience with serverless programming in one of the following: AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.

• 2+ years of experience working with IAAS ( Infrastructure as code ) using Terraform, CodeDeploy or similar services.

• 2+ years of experience in log aggregation tools in one of the following: Splunk or ElasticSearch

• 2+ years of experience in the following Monitoring tools: New Relic or Datadog.

• 2+ years of experience in open source frameworks in one of the following Apache Camel and Kafka.

• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

McLean, VA: $158,600 - $181,000 for Senior Software EngineerThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
