The Premium Hub-Centre of Expertise (CoE) within the SAP Adoption Services Center provides the expertise in application and technology areas to deliver high-end support to our MaxAttention, Active Attention, and Value Assurance customers. As CoE Senior Consultant for Procurement Areas, you will analyze End to End Procurement Process of our global customers and present the results of your findings and recommendations to IT managers and executives. You have the chance to design and optimize complex IT landscapes, on which our largest customers run their businesses. Your area of responsibility will extend to some of the following tasks:
- Conceptual and Architectural guidance and helping in the Digital Transformation in Intelligent Spend Management and Supply Chain area.
- Assess Business Processes maturity and performances, identifying opportunities of improvements with SAP S/4HANA Procurement, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass and our solution capabilities.
- Create the “to-be” technology footprint, develop solutions roadmap and phased implementation approach to achieve strategic business objectives within procurement solution.
- Perform hands-on work related to system configuration, Document business requirements, Business process flows, functional specs and solution designs.
- Apply expert advice and guidance to plan and design the intelligent enterprise target architecture and roadmap.
- Remote / Onsite support in critical customer situations like Global Escalations or War Rooms.
Skills / Competencies
- Mandatory.
- 4 to 8+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Business Network
- Must have strong end-to-end business process know-how with product knowledge in S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay/Source-to-Pay, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass
- Experienced in interacting with C Level sponsors.
- Experienced in Business Process analysis and reengineering.
- Experienced in driving projects in complex and international environment.
- Experienced in strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex programs.
- Preferred / Good to have.
- Additional functional/technical knowledge in any of the following areas is desired: central procurement, invoicing, sourcing, contract management, buying, supplier lifecycle management, etc.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA MM with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) from Open Text
- Experience in System ConversationTransition Scenariofrom SAP ECC to S/4HANAincluding CVI and Business Partner Approach
- Experience in technical areas in one ERP LoB process and with new technologies such as Cloud Solutions, Business Technology Platform, IoT, Machine Learning, big data and blockchain will be a plus.
- Experience with ABAP programming and debugging skills, ABAP Enhancements, User Exits and BAdIs is highly desired.
- Additional
- The ideal candidate will have at minimum a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Computer science or engineering.
- Well-developed customer focus and problem solving.
- Ability to work under pressure. Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment. Must be a self-starter able to deliver high-quality content on a tight timeline.
- Outstanding presentation skills, ability to design, prepare and deliver high-impact presentations.
- Self-confident, communicative, and diplomatic character; strategic and analytical thinking; coordination and decision-making ability.
- Team player, proactive networking attributes, results, and execution focused, willing to learn.
- Ready to travel 30% for All Americas Region.

- English - Mandatory proficient spoken and written as we will be supporting customers in all Americas region including LATAM and North America (US & Canada)
