Job Description

What you will do:

• Work with the Integrated Process Team (IPT)to ensure the effective and efficient on-time delivery of batch production within the IPT area.
• Establish oneself as SME for designated downstream process workstream as assigned and lead the associated process centric team to deliver batch cadence and process improvement/ troubleshooting with end-to-end product focus.
• Provide support for improvements to automation changes, including code and software as required and generate change controls to support execution.
• Provide support for improvements to our MES system, software updates and UAT execution as required and generate change controls to support execution.
• Lead, assist in and facilitate investigations, ensuring effective Root Cause Analysis and CAPA’s, data analysis and interpretation to resolve complex downstream operations deviations.
• Provide technical, process and engineering expertise with a wide range of projects, such as the introduction of new equipment and processes.
• Tactical Implementation & Support for reliability equipment initiatives.
• Protocol/report authoring/execution/oversight/approval as appropriate.
• Author/approve Change controls as appropriate.
• Support Generation of SOPS/WI’s/Electronic Batch Records and facilitate review workshops as deemed necessary.

You will more than likely have experience in:

• Collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and promote knowledge sharing and implementation of best practices across the site.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, project management skills.
• Strong Experience with Downstream bioprocessing and troubleshooting.

Minimum Education/Experience:

• This role requires an experienced individual with a degree (or higher) in Science, Engineering, Technical or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years operational support in Biopharma industry, with direct experience of biologics manufacture, facility commissioning, qualification, and startup.
