You’ll contribute to the high-quality of Apple’s world-changing products, from early prototypes to final designs. In many cases, you will be working on new technologies being incorporated in future products.
As a QA Engineer, you will assume the responsibility of ensuring the quality of device compatibility with Apple products. This entails interoperability validation and testing compliance protocols for USB, Thunderbolt, DisplayPort, and HDMI. You will have the opportunity to automate tests when feasible to improve test coverage and provide a comprehensive analysis of the identified issues.Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar engineering field
- Understanding of USB, Thunderbolt and DisplayPort technologies
- Experience working with industry standard protocol compliance test tools
- This position requires 100% on-site work (no remote work)
- Knowledge of Compliance Test Specs for USB, DisplayPort and HDMI
- 3+ years of QA experience testing interoperability
- Familiarity in debugging with logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
- Automation script development using Python or Shell Scripting
