Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary research to help the team build materials for primary market research and other background slides.
- Create therapy area overviews, including disease background, simplify treatment algorithms from NCCN and other such bodies, identify unmet needs, and develop a competitive landscape.
- Utilize the disease background slides to identify gaps in the research and develop materials, including a discussion guide, screener, pre-read, and stimulus, to enable primary market research with KOLs and payers.
- Conduct and participate in primary interviews to gather insights from experts regarding the therapy area, implications for the client's drugs, perception of the TPP, and identify key opportunities and challenges.
- Analyse outputs from the interviews to tease out key insights, identify trends, and generate solutions to answer the research problem.
- Leverage findings from secondary and primary market research to develop an impactful client presentation deck and final reports to answer key client questions and develop strategic outputs.
- Participate in and moderate workshops (virtual and in-person), such as ad-boards, evidence generation workshops, and other such workshops.
- Prepare materials for scheduled catch-up calls with clients and present findings.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and executive leadership
Key Competencies:
- Strong business analysis skills with experience in life sciences strategy, commercial strategy consulting, and market access.
- Good knowledge of market access in Europe, including HTA rules in top markets, IRP, the impact of EU-HTA regulations, and experience in participating/moderating advisory boards and other workshops.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Therapeutic area-specific expertise.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in commercial strategy projects related to opportunity assessment, strategic and tactical brand plans, TPP research, and policy-shaping advisory.
- Extensive experience in market access-related projects such as payer strategy, pricing research, evidence generation planning, mock negotiation workshops, advisory boards, and value story development (optional, not mandatory).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and proactively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in life sciences-related fields such as pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, biotechnology from top-tier institutes
- An MBA (in Pharma/healthcare/general) is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant analytical experience in life sciences commercial strategy consulting.
- Experience working across a broad range of projects in therapy areas like oncology, immunology, rare diseases, and cardiovascular diseases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactiveness and passion for tackling new challenges.
- Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results in demanding situations.
