J.P. Morgan Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) provides institutional investors with the capabilities to enable them to outsource their post-trade execution “middle office” operational activities. The product delivers capability across trade services, lifecycle management, investment record, asset servicing and treasury services across all asset classes. It is designed to be sold as a bundle with other Securities Services products (e.g. Custody and/or Fund Services) and is client segment (asset managers, asset owners and alternatives) and region agnostic. It leverages the Bank’s platforms to deliver scale and drive a global service model.
The IMOS offering covers functionality across trade validation and enrichment, confirmation, settlements, collateral management, asset servicing, trading asset records, reconciliations, reporting/portal/data services, all across multiple asset classes.
The Role
The IMOS Product Development Associate will be responsible for delivering targeted projects within the overall IMOS program and will roll into the work stream of Data Delivery, which is responsible for developing the experience of how our clients interact with our data on JPMorgan Markets as well as ingested into our client’s (plus end clients or their authorized third parties) systems. The role will focus on supporting the Middle Office Services product roadmap, gathering/drafting requirements for platform feature functionality, collaborating with the Data Product team and other product development areas. This person will play an important role in developing the IMOS Portal by partnering with Client Service, Operations, Sales and Product Management, and clients, by capturing the requirements to deliver the future state MOS oversight toolset.
The associate will work on projects to enhance applications in the JPM client facing portal as well as developing new types of reporting for our clients and their client’s and authorized third parties. The role will involve working with operations and technology to understand the trade lifecycles across asset classes and the creation of Investment Book of Record (IBOR), performing data analysis on the associated data to understand its behavior and nuances, and writing requirements to develop those applications further. This individual will work with their manager to define and execute the roadmap and the priorities for their projects. They will be responsible for managing the detailed flows, communicating updates to their stakeholders, and partnering with teams across the organization to drive the projects to completion.
