As a, you will drive the client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management and investment solutions in11 Hub Managed Countries (HMC– Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia).
The Corporate Bank serves as the conduit of Citi’s full product suite to clients through holistically managed relationships across our unparalleled network.
Responsibilities:
Exhibit on a day-to-day basis a strong corporate finance mindset, in all internal and client interactions.
Focus on a dynamic and complex segment of the HMC economy, across Large Corporates, Public Sector and Financial Institutions.
Maintain & service existing clients, as well as expand the portfolio within the dedicated target market and in line with Citi’s standards, policies and procedures.
Build and maintain strong client relationships. Interact with key customer decision makers and stakeholders, in order to get a deep understanding of various business models & sectors.
Manage independently a diverse client portfolio, with a high degree of complexity.
Cross-sell together with dedicated partners a wide range of solutions, including financing & wider capital structuring options, cash management, trade & financial markets.
Contribute together with internal partners to various approval processes, incl. greenlight & credit memos.
Contribute to various presentations, pitches and client decks, as well as support partners with diverse internal materials / content.
Have a solid understanding of capital markets products and work closely with partners to identify / originate opportunities.
Display know-how & awareness in terms of early problem recognition and remedial management, along with a strong understanding of risks.
Keep a sound quality of the credit portfolio, ensure adherence to Citi’s credit policies, procedures, programs, and best practices.
Maintain a strong and solid control environment (as per the AML, KYC and other policies).
Promote an enhanced customer experience & drive customer satisfaction.
Regular interaction with multiple cross border teams and partners, as well as the local leadership team.
Requirements:
The applicant should have 6+ years of relevant Banking experience.
Bachelor / University degree (Finance / Economics preferred)
Excellent English language knowledge
Proven sales track record in previous client fronting roles.
Ability to execute independently on complex transactions with limited guidance.
Sound credit knowledge, including financial modelling , CFA is an advantage
Expertise in risk assessment and in identifying any early warning signals.
