Lead and Mentor a team of highly skilled and success driven signal processing engineers
Represent algo perspective of system level discussions such as laser design, predistortion algorithms, non linear effects and link budget
Develop ASIC(HW) and FW(SW) based algorithms for sampling, pre-processing, calibration, and processing of multi-channel RF signals for LiDAR applications, as well as range and velocity estimators, and image processing of the 4D (Range/Directions/Velocity) representation of the LiDAR output
Conduct research w.r.t improvements and next generation Lidar concept
Deliver fixed point ASIC algorithm specifications to the VLSI team and DSP Algorithms specifications to the SW team
Develop comprehensive E2E simulation infrastructure for modeling and verification of algorithm pipes at system-level, and release algorithms
To perform sophisticated system optimization of the sensing KPI performance of the algorithmic chain under various tradeoffs, and sign of the algo-pipe performance
To analyze and optimize algorithms based on field-recorded data from our LiDAR
All you need is
BSc. degree in electrical engineering or related filed. MSc. is an advantage
Proven experience in algorithms development for ASIC / FPGA teams
At least 5 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in Matlab is a must. Python and C/C++ - advantage
Good Understanding of multidisciplinary system modules - optics, mechanics, algorithms, and of system-level application.
Experience in DSP for RF/optic signals (communication, RADAR, sensors) – advantage
Experience in algo/system engineering development of electro-optic multi-disciplinary systems and/or of an imaging system of other modalities – advantage
Experience with image analysis/imaging sensors development and ML – advantage
Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced work environment while supporting field tests and other team tasks
