Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of mechanical design and documentation using 3D CAD tools (i.e. SolidWorks, Catia, Inventor).
- 5 years of experience in designing and analyzing with tolerance analysis and tolerance loop methodologies.
- 5 years of experience with structural and thermal analysis using FEA (ANSYS/FloTHERM/Nastran experience).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of mechanical design and analysis experience.
- Experience in designing complex modular building scale assemblies with an expert understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis.
- Experience in mechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design for medium-scale production, structural beams or elements and international building codes.
- Ability to setup and manage (Product data management)PDM systems.
