Your key responsibilities:
• Leverage experience in payroll domain to deliver HR and Payroll transformation projects for global clients, in collaboration with other GDS teams and other EY member firms
• Work on global client projects as part of a global distributed team. Ensure quality of all work outputs, timeliness and accuracy of content
• Provide domain expertise across multiple Payroll service areas such as Payroll Inputs, Gross to Net processing, Payroll remittances, Garnishments, Workforce management, etc.
• Be recognised as a subject matter expert in one or more areas in the Payroll domain.
• Support development of thought leadership, collateral, tools, techniques, methodologies to enhance payroll advisory and broader capability offering within the practice
• Drive effective client communication, cadence and build relations with client and project team counterparts across global locations. Ensure to obtain excellent feedback from the client and global project counterparts

To qualify for the role, you must have
• 6 - 9 years of experience in Payroll operations and consulting domain
• Minimum 2 years of experience in global payroll advisory
• Master’s degree in Finance/HR or full time MBA
• Experience in delivering payroll implementation and transformation programs, as part of a global distributed team
• Experience of working in a consulting environment
• Strong understanding of 1 or more payroll technology systems – ADP, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.

Ideally, you’ll also have
• Expertise in the below:
o Strong technical knowledge of end to end payroll process
o Analytical abilities and knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
o Expertise in process mapping and documentation using Visio and other tools
o Expertise in creating SOP, process documentation and work instructions
• Actively involved in end to end Payroll implementation and transformation programs
• Exposure to work force transformation programs enabled by technology
• Experience in policy review, current payroll assessments, vendor selections, designing payroll processes and strategies at global level, global payroll implementation support
• Hands on experience in payroll automation projects and RPA
• Experience and working knowledge of one or more global payroll platforms such as ADP (Global View, WorkForce Now), SAP, Workday, Oracle/PeopleSoft products. Actively involved in end to end Payroll implementation and transformation program – hands on experience in work force transformation programs enabled by technology. Led or been part of multi work stream transformation program
• FPC/CPP/PMP and other payroll related certifications will be an added advantage
• Experience of working with the global payroll vendors such as ADP, RAMCO, etc
