- Developing strategies for clients in the design and technical build-out of the infrastructure, applications and management of anything mainframe-related.
- Defining and detailing feasible IBM zStack solutions that complement and enhance clients’ existing tech stacks.
- Consultatively building credibility and trust at all levels, internally and externally, to close highly complex Cloud technology deals.
- In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of IBM zSystems and LinuxONE hardware, software and services.
- Demonstrate the value of IBM zSystems and LinuxONE solutions and offerings to customers.
- Provide proactive, technical counsel to customers key IT executives on technical strategy, innovations, direction, solutions, and projects around IBM zSystems and/or LinuxONE solutions.
- Accelerate Client Innovation and assure clients gain value from application of new technologies, and existing IBM strategic technologies and industry solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience of successfully working collaboratively to translate business goals into technical solutions and advising teams on optimal technology strategies to achieve business results.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven record of influencing consensus across diverse groups of senior stakeholders within enterprises.
- Knowledge of IBM Systems especially IBM zSystems and zSoftware Portfolio software solutions.
- Passionate for technology. Constant and contagious desire to learn new technologies is required.
- Collect business and technical information from clients regarding requirements and play a key role in composing, researching, and delivering responses to RFPs.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experienced Technical Sales profession with related experience in technical sales leadership roles and coaching IBM zSystems and/or LinuxONE architecture and solution sales.
- Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on IBM zSystems and/or LinuxONE.
- Actively use social media channels to reach out to business connections, blog and spread platform news across his/her network.
