Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Finding solutions and proposing new concepts for solving challenging metrological problems
• Demonstrating experimentally proof-of-concepts of new ideas in the lab
• Planning, setting up, and running complex experiments
• Thorough and comprehensive data collection and analysis
• Formulating conclusions and recommendations for next generations products
• Collaborating within the team as well as other functions

Minimum Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• Proficiency in Optics & Physics of light-matter interaction
• Proven experimental and hands-on experience with building new lab setups and running complex experiments.
• 2 years (4 years – advantage) of work experience in industry or academia (including post-doctoral research)
• Strong simulation capabilities
• Expertise in optical metrology technologies – an advantage
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Out-of-the box thinking
