- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience as a security engineer or researcher.
- Experience developing system software or writing exploit/proof-of-concept code.
- Experience in two of the following areas: Cellular modem/baseband, integrated circuits, eSIM, Wifi, Bluetooth, Thread, USB, NFC; protocols and implementations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science.
- Experience identifying vulnerabilities in wireless protocols or implementations.
- Experience writing exploits for wireless communication vulnerabilities on secured devices (e.g., Android, iOS, Linux based platforms) and ability to assess the effect of security hardening efforts.
- Experience presenting security research at conferences or workshops, and participating in Capture the Flag (CTF) events and Vulnerability Rewards Programs (VRP).
- Knowledge of applied cryptography.
- Ability to ramp up on new code bases (e.g., C, C++, Rust) and evaluate the architecture, attack surface, and weaknesses.
